I have been blacksmithing for nearly 30 years and attending events at Fort de Chartres since the age of 10.

I am also the Seargent of Stirling’s Co. 42nd Highland Regiment who was responsible for taking possession of the Fort after the close of the French & Indian War.

My shop specializes in Colonial Period products such as but not limited to all manner of hearth ware, cookware, utensils, skillets, fire sets, toasters and other items too numerous to list.

I also make all types of Colonial lighting from the most basic tavern light to complex chandeliers. As for weaponry, I have produced knives, swords, tomahawks, belt axes and felling axes among various other period tools.

Custom work from the Colonial & Civil War Periods all the way up to more modern.

Organic sculpture work has also been a mainstay for the shop and is always welcome.
