This lap embroidery loom is hand turned from a beautiful cherry wood. The rollers are fit with strips of canvas secured with screws for sewing your working piece of fabric onto. The laths, also made of cherry and slide through the open mortised ends of the rollers. They are secured with wooden pegs to hold tension on the fabric.
This loom comes with the two rollers, two laths and 4 wooden pegs shown, fabric not provided.
This lap embroidery loom was designed from sketches based off larger originals in the book 18th Century Embroidery Techniques by Gail Marsh.
