Cooperman History Lives Game of Jacks is a timeless traditional children’s game with roots in early play, long before the invention of rubber balls. Early versions were played using small animal bones or stones, with one piece designated as the “jack”—all moves had to be completed before catching it mid-air. This simple yet skillful game has remained a favorite for generations.
The Game of Jacks set is handcrafted in Vermont and features 10 large lead-free pewter jacks, cast in our workshop for durability and authentic weight. The set includes both a wood ball (representing early non-bouncing play) and a modern bouncy ball for contemporary gameplay options.
Set Includes:
10 lead-free pewter jacks (hand cast in Vermont)
1 wood ball (historic-style play)
1 rubber bouncy ball (modern play option)
